Message from Gary Briggs, LUFC Owner Lacey Ultimate Fitness Center - what a great place to workout! Get fit 24 hours a day, see our friendly staff, meet wonderful members, enjoy a plethora of equipment in a clean environment, learn from an exciting and dynamic group fitness team of instructors and participants - and the list goes on. I want to assure you our goal is to continue to do our best to keep all of our equipment up and in operational form. We have hired two new maintenance technicians, both in-house and on-call, in order to achieve this goal. I continue to need your help in communicating when equipment has issues - please let our front desk staff know immediately. Please be patient as parts do take time - especially if they need to be ordered. We are also proud to announce that we have promoted Don Lemn, who is now our Night Shift Supervisor. As you know, we support our community in many different ways. We are currently supporting the American Cancer Society Relay for Life Event. LUFC has a team that will be walking around the track for 24 hours to help support the Relay for Life. We will be raising funds through a car wash on June 8th - you can purchase tickets at our front counter and at the LUFC Community Sale, which will be held in our Group Fitness Room. All funds received at both fundraising events will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Congratulations to all of you who have accomplished so much over the last few months: dropping weight, placing Team LUFC on the podium in bodybuilding, and working to reach your own personal goals. It’s a great time of year to bring in your friends and loved ones into the gym to live a longer and happier life - three day passes are always available at the front counter! We are happy to announce that Don Lemn has been promoted to our new night shift supervisor. Don was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and raised in Washington State. He aspires to become a fitness trainer in order to assist others in achieving new goals and a healthier life. We welcome Pete Gregorio, LUFC’s new maintenance technician. Pete will be working to ensure that all gym equipment is in proper working order. Pete is a journeyman electrician and has eight years experience in building maintenance.
