Message from Gary Briggs, LUFC Owner More than ever, these last couple of months I have been so inspired by the amazing community of athletes within our walls! Our mission here at LUFC has always been to provide a training ground and fitness center for our members to reach their personal goals. Not only do we have so many weight loss, strength gain and personal empowerment member stories, we also have members on the national stage - competing in national competitions and attempting world records! Congratulations to Toni Brown, who recently placed 4th and 5th in the Masters National Bodybuilding Championship, and to Viko Newman, who just recently earned her Bodybuilding Pro Card. This past July, LUFC personal trainer Rusty Guico took first place in his division at the Mr. and Mrs. Muscle Beach Competition in Venice Beach, CA. And member Bill Blackstone will attempt a official bench press World Record in Las Vegas this coming October! WOW! Not to mention member Margaret who has lost well over 100 lbs., member Darren who has doubled his leg press strength to 1,000 lbs., member Matt who has been featured in a national fitness magazine, member Nat who is the “fastest 70-year-old jump-roper in the U.S.” and our dedicated rowers who are rowing 20,000 meters on our rowing machines! Inspiration abounds everywhere here at LUFC - thank you for supporting each other and making our gym a fun and inviting place to work out. I ask you to please reach out to family, friends and your community to encourage others to join our gym family. YOU ROCK!

If you want to be encouraged, inspired and get a fantastic workout, try one of Victoria’s group fitness classes! Victoria is one of our most popular instructors - she teaches our BodyPump, BodyStep, BodyCombat and CXWORX classes. Victoria’s classes are so fun - she believes it doesn’t matter what age or size you are, what fitness level you’re at, even if you’re a beginner...ANYTHING is possible when you put your mind to it! She loves being able to help others through physical fitness and loves hearing feedback from our members about results they see in their bodies, and how physically and mentally improved they feel. Her greatest reward is helping others improve their quality of life through exercise. She’d love to see you in class!
