ORGANIZATION OF THE WORK Initially, each one was given the task of bringing a design idea and these were discussed at a meeting where everyone expressed their views on the work of others. After that, the office’s chief director divided the team into two groups to work parallel to two different developments: the first linear, the second circular. The latter was what I did, and together with the group we made the project evolve from a conceptual to preliminary state. The will was to create a meeting space and play center, revisiting the idea of a Chinese court house, but at the same time creating deceptive paths in which children could get lost, hide, but easily find the way back. So collective spaces are located in the center, while the residences are placed side by side under a roof which is both a walk and a large livable stairway. After about a month of work, both projects were presented to the client for choosing the most congenial option.
