BEER MENU & TASTING NOTES

COSMIC DUST - SESSION IPA - 3.8% ABV

Double dry hopped with Mosaic and backed up by Enigma, this low ABV beer punches well above its weight. Tropical fruit aroma and a surprisingly full body. Super easy drinking.

BOWES PARK - PALE ALE -4.8%ABV

A loosey-goosey, juicy, tutti frutti beauty, answering the call of duty. Extra pale, caramalt with torrified oats complimented by Simcoe, Galaxy and N1o hops, which are grown in local gardens.

STONE FRUIT SOUR - SESSION SOUR - 4.8% ABV

This refreshing session sour combines real apricot with a generous dry hop addition to deliver big stone fruit aromas.

HOP AND COLD IPA - COLD IPA - 5.5%

This Cold IPA has the thirst quenching drinkability of a pilsner, paired with the hop intensity of an IPA. Fermented with lager yeast and conditioned until super clear, it’s an ultra-crushable fruity delight. The combo of Nelson Sauvin, Citra, Eukanot and Galaxy deliver a fruit salad of gooseberry, melon, pineapple, guava, peach, grapefruit, mango and more.

KING QUEEN KNAVE - NEW ENGLAND IPA - 5.2% ABV

A beer that is perfect for every day but bursting full of fruity hop flavour. Pale, hazy and smooth, it’s a fruit basket full of flavour finishing with a little dry bitterness to keep you coming back for more.

SPARTA - AMBER LAGER - 5.4% ABV

Bitterness and hop spice complement the honey and Dundee orange marmalade notes. The aftertaste has orange peel, toffee and a building dry spiciness. This could redefine your views on what constitutes a lager.

LUNA - NITRO STOUT - 4.4%

A velvety smooth nitro stout. Dry coffee and creamy Irish style but with a lovely river of rich bitterness. The perfect balance with a dry finish.

Founded in 2017, Bohem Brewery brings a little taste of Czechia to Haringey, one sip at a time, with their fantastic range of lager beers. The brewery’s ethos is, ‘treat lager with the respect it deserves’. With Czech trained brewers and brewing equipment specifically designed to brew Czech lager, attention to detail is at the heart of Bohem’s operation. The fact the brewery doubled their brewing capacity and tripled their fermentation capacity in 2022 shows their beer is getting the attention it deserves. We’re really excited to showcase Bohem on the D!H line up because, let’s face it, who doesn’t love guzzling a few chilled malt driven monsters on a warm day… or cold, we ’ re not fussy. We are pouring Sparta, a toffee focused amber lager which we think could just be one of your new favourite beers.

Bohem Brewery is based in an industrial estate on West Road, N17.

The Goodness Brewing Co was established by a small group of friends with a passion for homebrewing in 2018 and opened their brewery taproom in 2019. When Ed moved to Haringey, their Wood Green brewery taproom was a favourite haunt of his in between lockdowns during the pandemic and the regular Deliveroo deliveries of an eight pack of their flagship SIPA, Yes!, were a saviour from lockdown monotony. Thankfully the brewery made it through the otherside of the pandemic and seems to be going from strength to strength with their beers now found in pubs around the capital. They’ve recently recruited a new head brewer who is driving, in the brewery’s terms, ‘ a subtle but thrilling shift in their beers.’ Cheers to that!

The Goodness Brewery Co is based in Clarendon Yard, Wood Green N22 We will be pouring Luna, the brewery's keg only Nitro Stout. A lovely day for a… Goodness ;)

Gravity Well Brewing was founded in 2018, with its original site in Waltham Forest… But in 2020 they moved their brewing site to Tottenham, so we’ll take that! And their beers are too good not to be included on the DRINK! Haringey line-up. Hazy, hoppy New England style pales and IPAs are the go to here.

We will be pouring one of their flagship pale ales, Cosmic Dust, which at a modest 3.4% ABV, packs a ‘I wasn’t expecting that!’ big hoppy fruity punch on the tongue and will be a great place to start your DRINK! Haringey beer tasting journey.

The brewery is located at Compass West Estate, West Road, London N17 and taproom Arch 155, Middleton Road in Leyton.

Jiddler’s Tipple is somewhat of a local hero amongst the Haringey craft beer scene. This brewery was founded in 2019 in Jacob Liddle’s (otherwise known as, ‘the Jiddler’) garden shed in his home in Turnpike Lane. After home brewing for a number of years, the brewery was established with Jacob’s guiding aim of brewing perfectly balanced, delicious, session strength beer beers (3.8%) - chef’s kiss on repeat!

The beer comes dressed in funky vintage shirt designs and can be found in supermarkets and pubs around the country, which is fantastic to see for such a good brewery, run by one of the good guys. A regular on the Ludo’s taps already, the Jiddler had to be included in this celebration of craft beer from Haringey!

We are pouring Hop and Cold IPA, a 5.5% Cold IPA which fuses the drinkability of a pilsner with the hop intensity of an IPA. Give it to me on a drip, baby!

Muswell Hillbilly Brewers, based in... Muswell Hill, began their brewing journey around 2016. Pistol Pete, Mart Dude, Steve and Bob (AKA as Beer Bob), four friends turned home brewers, began experimenting and brewing beer at UBREW in Bermondsey. Fed up with the journey to south London, but inspired by everything the Bermondsey Beer Mile had to offer, Pistol Pete registered his cabin as a brewery and the rest is, as they say, Hillbilly!

In February 2017 the brewers moved into a small studio in Avenue Mews, Muswell Hill. However, they quickly outgrew the space and opened a three barrel brewery in 2020 in Avenue Mews, where you will also find their tap roomwhere a great afternoon and evening can be spent chatting to locals, listening to music and sampling their range.

We’re really excited to have these brewers on the line up - we love how they grow their own hops in local gardens. With their Bowes Park Pale Ale on the line up, you truly are drinking a little bit of Haringey. Cheers!

Pressure Drop burst onto the London craft beer scene a decade ago when they launched their flagship beer, Pale Fire. The brewery began in a small garden shed in Hackney, but have since upgraded to their very impressive brewery in Tottenham Hale, which is well worth a visit.

We love that Pressure Drop only consists of a small team of eight people who have a real DIY, get stuck-in mentality.

We’re including Pressure Drop in our line up to bring home a big hazy and juicy New England IPA, King Queen Knave. However, you must try the other beers in their ever evolving range of beers, which includes lagers, session IPAs and stouts.

Tart is the creation of Barney, a Haringey native, who struck up an obsession with experimenting with brewing and fermentation during Covid. Barney soon set himself the challenge to create a beer that everyone, including non-beer drinkers, could enjoy. We think Barney has more than accomplished that challenge and is brewing some of the most exciting beers around at the moment.

The secret to the beer in the Tart range is the omission of bittering hops, instead creating balance through a subtle sourness. We’re are pouring the Stone Fruit Sour, a big tangy session sour that will have you coming back for more. Yum!
