The older boys are largely unsupervised, and go about mugging, thieving and pimping at a local truck park. But when Sergey makes the mistake of falling in love with one of the girls, a tragedy begins to unfold…

Scripted by Graham Greene, with iconic scenes, memorable locations and a haunting zither soundtrack, this is arguably one of the best film noirs ever made. The story concerns Holly Martins (Joseph Cotton) who arrives in post-war Vienna at the invitation of his friend Harry Lime (Orson Welles), only to find he has died. But nothing is quite what it seems…..

The film follows several characters struggling to find a way to live under the fanatics. It’s a stunningly beautiful film, and heartbreakingly sad.

The latest film from Bridesmaids director features Susan Cooper (Melissa McCarthy), possibly the most unlikely spy ever to don a wig and go undercover. Her mission – oh, just to infiltrate the world of a deadly arms dealer and prevent a global crisis. Jampacked with gags and wonderful set pieces, this comedy with plenty of action features Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, Jason Statham, Jude Law and Miranda Hart.

A beautiful and gentle portrait of growing up in a rural environment, and the struggle to sustain the old ways in a changing world.

Young Jay has travelled from Scotland to 1800s America in search of his lost love Rose. His naïvety soon lands him in trouble, but luckily Silas shows up and offers to be his protector. It turns out that he (and several others) are also looking for Rose but for an entirely different reason….. A gripping tale of the West when it was still wild, starring Michael Fassbender, Ben Mendelsohn and Kodi Smit-McPhee.

THE SALT OF THE EARTH (12A) This ravishing documentary portrait of Brazilian photographer Sebastião Salgado follows his life story from boyhood to the present day. His career took him to many of the world’s hot spots and war zones before he turned to environmental activism.
