He revisits the remote Irish seaside village where he spent his childhood summers, and finds himself engulfed in memories, both of his recent loss, and of the long-ago summer of 1955 when he was 12. This stylish thriller is an adaptation of the book by Patricia Highsmith. Rydal, a good-looking young American, offers to guide a rich and glamorous holidaying couple around Athens, planning to con them out of a little money.
