I am a Product Buyer and Developer with a wide-ranging skill set in womenswear and menswear, covering; wovens, jersey, outerwear, knitwear and swimwear. I am detail-oriented with a keen eye for sustainable product development and a strong interest in trends and consumer behaviours. With a blend of both design and buying experience, I have translated creative concepts into commercially successful ranges.

Experience

Product Buyer & Developer: 2020 - Present

Leading all aspects of the product team, including range curation, buying strategies, design and CAD, tech pack build, fit sessions, critical path management, and global supplier coordination. Collaborating with the marketing team to ensure product messaging is clear and impactful for the customer.

Associate Technical Designer: 2019 - 2020

Responsible for design ideation, CADs, technical files and fit sessions. Close collaboration with the overseas marketing office, to communicate product details.

Design Intern: July 2018

Assisted the Outerwear and Sportswear teams in creating detailed competitor research, trend analysis and colour forecasting.

Creating the idea behind ADAY’s successful marketing campaign that has continued to be used every year for the last 4 years. The #OutfitRepeaterChallenge. A campaign to celebrate the generally ‘shamed’ notion of outfit repeating. This campaign directly involves customers with the brand as they share their own ‘outfit repeating’ on social media, simultaneously giving brand exposure.

Using trend & colour research to influence the designs but focusing only on those that will stand the test of time.
