Pavilion 1 Through the Glass 2
Within
Park Pavilion
1: Concert Pavilion
The park pavilion provided a solution to connect MLK Dr. with a pond in Burnet Woods while also serving as a space to hold small concerts. The concept was derived from the structural framework of the Thorncrown Chapel, which was altered to provide additional enclosure. By building the pavilion into the site, the site and pavilion became one to form a beautiful enclosure.

Through the Glass
2: Roof-top Pavilion
This project focused on a way to allow circulation and gathering on the green roof atop the architecture building. This pavilion serves as a gathering space for students and faculty who are in a high stress environment. Through the addition of colored glass panels, the space transformed into a playful, yet relaxing getaway.

The Beauty Within 3: 100+ 1 Project
The Beauty Within transformed unwanted materials into a beautiful work of art. By melting plastic knives and attaching them with fishing line, simple plastic knives became a chandelier. This project focused on finding the beauty in “garbage”
The 100+1 Project combined 100 pieces of a single item, without typical bonding materials to create a transformative composition that took the form of a new object. The goal was to disguise the material through the piece.
The Brick
4: Modular Unit
The Brick was created for the modular unit project. The goal was to reinvent the traditional brick and make something that could be replicated and form a wall. The form was created as a way to elevate the original design of the brick, while allowing it to still be used in building construction. By casting concrete in plywood molds, a unique and replicable form was created.

Joy Delivered: Professional Work
The brief for this project was to design a space for a family to gather and connect, along with a designated office space and workout area. A cool color scheme was chosen to brighten up the space due to the lack of light, while also providing a comfortable area to focus or relax. Plants were included throughout the space to breathe life and uplift the space. The design emphasized a comfortable space to escape.
