Visitors prepare to flock to the Big Apple for the Super bowl 2014 A GIANT toboggan run will be the centrepiece of New York City’s Super Bowl Boulevard, a free, American football-themed winter wonderland taking over Broadway around Times Square next year from 29 January – 1 February 2014 as the region hosts the Super Bowl for the first time. Super Bowl XLVIII (48) will be played at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on 2 February 2014. This is the first Super Bowl game ever to be played in an outdoor stadium in a cold weather destination. “Super Bowl XLVIII marks a great time to visit New York City, and whether New Yorkers and visitors are sports fans or more interested in the half time entertainment, there is something for everyone,” said George Fertitta, CEO of NYC & Company. “We are eager to welcome thousands of people from
