EXTREME E & EXTREME H

Extreme E combines racing with environmental activism, using electric SUVs in remote areas to highlight climate change impacts. Teams race in challenging terrains, raising awareness and promoting sustainability. Through competition, Extreme E urges climate action, engaging audiences in conservation and renewable energy discussions, aiming for positive environmental change.

As a mid-weight graphic designer, I had the chance to handle a variety of design projects. This involved creating digital content such as graphics for social media and sales presentations, as well as executing print designs for the paddock and explorer lounge areas.

As the sole in-house designer for nine months, I gained significant expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, staying composed under pressure, and consistently delivering high-quality designs. Now, as the lead designer, I have further enhanced my management skills by guiding junior designers to achieve high-quality results.

Extreme H was launched on June 27th, 2024, aboard the St Helena at London Bridge.

For this special occasion, I had the opportunity to create all the hospitality assets for the event.

From small elements like wristbands to media backdrop, and stage, I contributed to bringing the entire event to life.

One of the most significant and exciting projects I work on at Extreme E involves race preparation.

I collaborate closely with the commercial team to meet partners’ expectations and coordinate with teams for approval on paddock assets.

This includes designing paddock elements such as team flags, garage panels, podiums, start gantries, media backdrop,... and the VIP area known as the Explorer Lounge.

Collaborating closely with the communications team and EY, Extreme E’s official sustainability partner, I created an 80-page report, transforming complex information into easily accessible graphics.

It was incredibly rewarding to see such a significant project come to life.

The Sustainability Report for Season 3 of Extreme E was an exciting project I had the privilege to work on.
