LOGO & SYMBOLISM

The inspiration for VEG comes from the company’s previous logo. The triangle has been deconstructed in order to suggest that each of the three sharp, discontinuous lines belong to the acronyms from the name. Moreover, the triangle’s position symbolizes the idea of going up (“to the top”) and of constant evolution.

The minimum clear space is determined by the width of the letter “E�. In order to avoid overcrowdedness and ensure legibility, no other visual elements should be placed within this area.

The minimum size that the full version logo can appear is 30mm height. However, if a smaller proportion is required, only the symbol version can be used at a minimum size of 10mm.

Blue

The positive and negative versions of the VEG logo can be used depending on the background color of the piece of communication. The logo should always be produced in the brand colors as shown below. Note: The logo should only ever be used on a white, blue or grey background. It can be added on top of images only when using a 70% transparent blue overlay.

Typography is a powerful brand tool when used consistently. The two primary typefaces represent the bold and modern feel of the brand and should be used primarily by the branding team and design partners. Expletus Sans is a display typeface, which means that it is not recommended for long pieces of text. Raleway is an elegant sans-serif typeface family intended for headings and body texts.

SECONDARY TYPEFACE To be used for EMAIL/DOCUMENTS/PRESENTATIONS The secondary typeface is Arial, which is a standard system font. Arial has two family weights: Regular and Bold. It can also be used in Italic form.
