Friends of Lucerne Festival
Since its founding in 1966, the Foundation Friends of Lucerne Festival has made supporting the work of one of the world’s most renowned classical music festivals its goal.
Their continuous and generous support has made the Friends an indispensable partner of Lucerne Festival.
The Friends’ chief concern extends beyond promoting the Festival of today, for example by supporting the Lucerne Festival Orchestra. The Friends also provide a sustainable basis for the artistic work of tomorrow and therefore support such important projects as the Lucerne Festival Academy.
The circle of Friends of Lucerne Festival offers the opportunity to deepen the concert experience through discussions with artists and visits to rehearsals, which allows members to become part of an international network of music enthusiasts.
The Young Friends of Lucerne Festival has been established especially for young adults to organize shared concert visits at reduced rates and to offer a varied supporting program.
