About Me. My name is Lucas Winson Yip, I am 21 years old and currently pursuring the Diploma of Interior Architecture & Design at Temasek Polytechnic.

Design Experience.

Internship at JP Concept Pte Ltd • A mandatory 3 month Internship experience during the 2nd semester at ITE. • Outsourced materials for interior application, loose furnitures enquiries and updated catalogues from external sources, assisted in CAD drawings for Major Clients and Projects.

• Further developed my communication skills, collaboration with colleauges, got a better understanding of the design industry.

Sustainable Design Singapore • Project Work: La Vivienca was displayed, shown to external viewers from sustainable design singapore. It has helped me develop confidence in my work and persistentance to do well.

• Gave me a better understanding towards passive and active design strategies, understanding current world issues and the relations towards architecture.

L. Constance A 12 x 12M space where a timeless luxury watch retailer occupies. with 55 years of history, L.constance are for those with exquiste taste in classic timepieces.

The application of the royal blue arch feauture wall essentially balances out the intensity of reflectiveness within the interior.

Location: Alleyway at Keong Saik Road Client: Foley Artist Design Principles: Dynamic / Harmony / Collison of Geometry

Overall Vision.

To fabricate a space where the Foley artist can fully utilize, Due to Keong Saik Road agressive past, Angular and dynamic shapes are present in the design concept which also emphasizes Keong Saik road roof architecture.

While Harmony of shapes suggest indulgence in the art of Foley, by extracting sound waves during the process of recording, going through thought process and motion comprising of physical and emotional dimensions of sounds and affecting moods and environment.

True the complexity of Foley art, Collison of geometry of functions would change the ambience of the site.

Design Statement.

The vision is to create a social nucleus with a sense of attachment while rooted towards the enriching history of Chai Chee, reminisce of the past most residents could relate.

Through the extraction of iconic features of an era to develop unique & engaging wayfinding towards the central space.

With that, an inclusive community where all could enjoy, by enhancing current facilities and activity spaces through integration while promoting self-sufficiency and self-reliance.

Additionally, implementing live & play areas such as chill zones, study areas and public wellness zones reduce residents physchological stress.
