Thompson Hotel Furniture Details

Tools: Revit, AutoCAD, Enscape, Photoshop, Procreate

In designing the Thompson Hotel's furniture, I focused on meeting the specific needs of each function. I conceptualized and created working drawings for the reception desk and coat check area, using gypsum board for its versatility and blend of aesthetics and practicality. I crafted a cohesive hotel interior that balances innovation with functionality, offering a welcoming and visually appealing environment for guests.

Working Drawing Samples

Tools: AutoCAD and Revit

I specialize in creating detailed working drawings that comply with Ontario Building Code (OBC) regulations. My work includes drafting floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details while ensuring accuracy, safety, and structural standards. I collaborate with engineers and contractors to produce precise designs that facilitate a smooth transition from design to construction.

Environmental Exploration

In my most recent passion project, I’ve been exploring my environment and applying my findings to design solutions. Below are architectural hierarchy studies inspired by observing a nearby snowbank and rethinking spatial relationships.

i) Natural divot formed in snow ii) Marked out the possibility of a mass. Recreational space could be sloped.

iii) Drew it out in section to understand iv) Considered a main stairway from point “A”. What if we took the public space and hid the private spaces underground? what the slope could look like, and what kind of space it could create. due to wind.
