At a time when book bans and restrictions are on the rise in classrooms and libraries across the country, supporting the right to read and the freedom found in books is more important than ever. This Banned Books Week, Library partners will be
handing out banned books at the Prairie Ave. Train Station every morning and evening from Monday, September 23 to Friday, September 27. We invite Brookfielders and everyone who opposes censorship to stop by and pick up a free copy of a banned book.
