ACTION FOR CHILDREN NEWS

Be a SECRET SANTA for a vulnerable child.

You could be a vital lifeline for vulnerable children in the UK.

Your support could help stop children going hungry. Your gift could help make sure children have the essentials. You could help children keep warm. You could help put the magic back into Christmas.

By being a Secret Santa you could help families like Amanda's: who has two boys, Max aged 6 and William who is 4. Last year the family almost cancelled Christmas as things became incredibly hard.

Action for Children provided a lifeline with vouchers for food and heating over Christmas. Thanks to supporters like you, we were able to give the family the Christmas they deserved.

To find out more you could Look at the website - actionforchildren.org.uk. Look on one of the notice boards. See our Christmas tree. Thank you

Turning Tides

St. Andrews will be supporting Turning Tides’ new accommodation project at Roffey Place by providing a “tuck box” for the residents in their communal lounge.

To fill the box (and keep it filled!), we will appreciate your regular donations of chocolate, biscuits, wrapped cake bars, mini bags of popcorn or cheese biscuits, crisps etc. Deacon Sarah will co-ordinate this in the first instance so any questions or suggestions should be addressed to her. Collection boxes will appear in church by Sunday 18th December to begin receiving donations. Thank you very much
