Flagship Store
Alexander McQueen was a very sheltered person. He protected himself from other people and only let a few people close to him throughout his life.
The exterior facade of this building is a visual representation of the armor Alexander McQueen built within himself as protection from others. The spikes are meant to look sharp and unapproachable but when you get closer there are areas in the facade where the interior of the building is visible to the viewers that walk by.
The foundation of this flagship store is home to employee offices, a directors office and a conference room.
This foundation space was designed to commemorate Alexander McQueen, by featuring a mural of him in the space and making it seem as if he himself were there watching over everyone.
The boutique was designed to showcase Alexander McQueen Products for everyone to shop from. This boutique features clothing and footwear from McQueen’s past collections, and would be updated accordingly to the brands releases.
