their brightest when it comes to academics. Sure, academics is the 1 .. eason why people come to school in the fii ..st place, but us "Sta1 s" definately over-achieve with our education.

Students here participate in staple classes like English, So cia l Studies, Math, Science, PE, and Health, but also attend a v~riety of other classes which we may choose: Art, FCS, Band, Orchestra, lndustial Te ch, ocal Music, Spanish, and Fren ch. 1l1ere are also some classes that ar·e exclusive to 8th grade1 s, such as Speech and Drama.

Students work very hard at achieving their academic goals here at Scott Middle School, doing their best to make our school shine.

Hanging with friends during recess. We do everything from football t , sitting at the picnic tables talking about what we are going to do after school. We also socialize between classes in the hallway or locker row

Friends are an important part of o !I -8th grade year. They're with us in the good times and the bad times .

This past year was memorable for all grades, but mostly 8th grade. There are a lot of memories that we kept throughout the year that will stay with us for lite. I think most of us agree that it was one of the most unpredictable and exciting times of our lives so long 8th grade. -Zane Mapes

8th Grade

8th grad e has been a great time in our lives. Now we are moving on to bigger and better things. We will always rememb er our friends, teachers, and our three awesome years at Scott. No matter what high school we go to, we will still cherish these memories. We ·ust wanted to say thanks for a great year! ~Haley Christensen and Tori Tramp

As most of us came into Scott as sixth graders we were all starry- eyed, looking forward to becoming those cool, nice, and mature eighth graders we saw in the hallways. The time

Top : Miss Abby taking time for a has flown by and before we knew it, we were those same qui ck picture between classes. eighth graders leading our school. At Scott we gained a lot , Belo w: Time to change classes and of knowledge, friendships, memories, and experiences to go to our lockers! learn from. We all came to middle school expecting it to be a drag but I think we all realized we were very wrong. We all have a lot of stories and memories of middle school that we will never forget and yet there are those ones that we will want to forget. Yes, we all know we have tripped up . the stairs plenty of times and looked around to see if anyone was watching. The time we have spent at Scott has been very memorable, challenging, and fun at the same time. Just remember that next year you will be back to square one looking up to all of the older kids and knowing that you will soon be there too. -Jasmin Stonacek
