SPEECH SPEECH SPEECH

On August 18th, thefirstFriday of the school year students attended an assembly about making the school great. One of the speakers, Dr. Joel, talked about Dr. Moore.(Bottom left)

CHANGE IS GOOD

Moore was a change from the previous schools students attended. 7th grader Chloe Styles said, "The school was big and I thought I couldn't get to all my classes on time" and David Crist, another 7th grader, said, "At first it was going to be really difficult to get to all my classes since this is my first year at a public school, but I ended up finding it was easy to memorize my schedule and make friends."

NEW SCHOOL, NEW EXPERIENCES

The first week of middle school was a big adjustment for some 6th graders to get used to. "I was excited to meet new friends and it was really interesting to see all the new things. The one thing that was hard for me was getting my locker open." said Sisley Mitchell. Bailee Volzke said, "I thought that it was interesting that there was so many people and the school was so big. I had some trouble findin g my classes and locker. .. but now I am getting used to it and actually kind of liking it."

WHAT'S YOUR FA VO RITE COLOR?

During the first week at Moore Middle School, Dr. Moore came into classes and gave presentations. She told the students they are the explorers of this new school. D r. Moore even participated in some of the "get to know you" activities, like the making of the community ball, a homemade porn-porn in Mrs. McBride's classroom.
