Thi yearbook i dedicated to our custodians. Thank you for everything you do for u .
They ' re here before we come to school and here after we leave. We see them , everyday, cleaning up the messes we leave behind. They are the Custodians: Larry Danner, Steve Chrastil, Lucinda Janeed, Leon Glowdowski , Dorthey Taylor, Betty Hickerson , and Joe Janecek.
Although we often take them for granted we should realize how important our custodial staff is. They not only keep the school clean and running , but he lp out students ,too. Think back to the first couple of weeks of seventh grade when nobody could get their lockers open or more recently when things get jammed in the locker door, and help is needed. They are always around to help us out.
Custodians are very hard working and dedicated people. Look at all the jobs that most of us would concider dirty work , such as cleaning bathrooms , floors , and cafeteria. When a desk , chair ,- the heater or air conditioner is broken , they are always around to fix it. They even shovel and salt the_sidewalks so we won 't fall!! So , you see , they keep us warm , cool , and even safe! We are fortunate to have such a committed group of people working to make Goodrich the great place that it is!

Farewell, Ninth Graders!!
After three years of homework, toil, and worry, everything has all payed off in a major way.
The ninth graders of Goodrich Middle School will now leave to attend one of the many Lincoln high schools. Next year the ninth graders will be exposed to many more
choices and opporturuties. With n w doors opening, many will choose to join band, chorus, sports, Student Council, and the yearbook or newspaper staff at their new school. As they search the many roads of the future, we bid farewell and good luck to the graduating class of 2001.

During the 1997-98 school year, here at Goodrich Middle School, Tommy Hilfiger was a hit! It was one of the clothing brands most often worn. ot only for girl , but the boys sported Tommy, too! It would have been a very rare occasion to walk down the hall without seeingTOMMY HILFIGER printed on someone's shirt, pants, overalls, shoes socks or even painted on finger- nails.

Future Leaders of Goodrich
After plowing through their eighth grade year, the eighth graders have gotten a stronger dose of growing up. They have been learning everything they need to know to become future leaders.
Next year, they will become Student Council presidents, first chair band members, yearbook staff members, and captains of their sports teams.
Knowing that the ninth graders have tried to set a good example, we wish the eighth graders good luck as the future leaders of Goodrich! We know you will succeed in continuing to make Goodrich a good place to be.
