THE CLEVELAND ORCHESTRA Emil de Cou, conductor with Classical Kids Live! This concert celebrates Vivaldi, Venice, and violins in this compelling mystery set in the early 1700s. Katarina, a young orphan, is sent to study violin at the Ospedale della Pietà with the great composer Antonio Vivaldi, where she discovers clues to her past and a missing Stradivarius violin. BERLIOZ The Damnation of Faust Berlioz’s rarely performed masterpiece conducted by a legendary interpreter of this work. Faust, an aging scholar, impulsively makes a bargain with Mephistopheles, who promises him the restoration of his youth, knowledge, and the fulfillment of all of his wishes.
