DOLLY PARTON
Dolly Parton is the most honored and revered multi-hyphenate of all time and was recently inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Her current album, Rockstar, made history by scoring the biggest album debut sales week of her seven-decade career and earning her six No. 1s on the Billboard charts. She has 49 career Top 10 country albums, a record for any artist, and 120 career-charted singles over the past 50+ years. In October 2023, Dolly released her second New York Times Best Seller coffee table book in a trilogy called Behind the Seams: My Life in Rhinestones. The first of the series was the best-selling Songteller: My Life in Lyrics.
In 2014, the Recording Industry Association of America recognized Parton’s impact on recorded music with a plaque commemorating more than 100 million units sold worldwide. She has amassed 11 Grammy Awards and 52 nominations, including the Lifetime Achievement Award; 10 Country Music Association Awards, including Entertainer of the Year; five Academy of Country Music Awards; four People’s Choice Awards; and three American Music Awards. In 1999, Parton was inducted as a member of the coveted Country Music Hall of Fame.
To date, Parton has donated over 255 million books to children around the world with her Imagination Library. Her children’s book, Coat of Many Colors, was dedicated to the Library of Congress to honor the Imagination Library’s 100 millionth book donation. In March 2022, Parton released Run, Rose, Run, co-authored with James Patterson, which sat at No. 1 on the New York Times Best Seller list for five weeks, a record for this decade. She also released an accompanying album of the same name with original songs inspired by the book, which reached No. 1 on three charts simultaneously.
From her “Coat of Many Colors” while working “9 to 5,” no dream is too big and no mountain too high for the country girl who turned the world into her stage.

DEREK DRYE
acoustic guitar, lap steel, dobro, and vocals

He has studied blues/jazz theory, played the Ryman and Grand Ole Opry, toured the country as a sideman, and now tours as a duo with his wife Katelyn, under the name The Dryes. Their music merges classic country tones with a modern lyrical wit (think Conway & Loretta with a little rock ‘n’ roll). Mentioned in Rolling Stone, USA Today, and even appearing on NBC’s The Voice, The Dryes are now both performing in Dolly Parton’s Threads in between their own shows.

This roster lists full-time members of The Cleveland Orchestra. The number and seating of musicians on stage varies depending on the piece being performed. Seating within the string sections rotates on a periodic basis.
Now firmly in its second century, The Cleveland Orchestra, under the leadership of Music Director Franz Welser-Möst since 2002, is one of the most sought-after performing ensembles in the world. Year after year, the ensemble exemplifies extraordinary artistic excellence, creative programming, and community engagement. In recent years, The New York Times has called Cleveland “the best in America” for its virtuosity, elegance of sound, variety of color, and chamber-like musical cohesion.
Founded by Adella Prentiss Hughes, the Orchestra performed its inaugural concert in December 1918. By the middle of the century, decades of growth and sustained support had turned it into one of the most admired globally.
The past decade has seen an increasing number of young people attending concerts, bringing fresh attention to The Cleveland Orchestra’s legendary sound and committed programming. More recently, the Orchestra launched several bold digital projects, including the streaming platform Adella.live and its own recording label. Together, they have captured the Orchestra’s unique artistry and the musical achievements of the Welser-Möst and Cleveland Orchestra partnership.
The 2025–26 season marks Franz Welser-Möst’s 24th year as music director, a period in which The Cleveland Orchestra has earned unprecedented acclaim around the world, including a series of residencies at the Musikverein in Vienna, the first of its kind by an American orchestra, and a number of celebrated opera presentations.
Since 1918, seven music directors — Nikolai Sokoloff, Artur Rodziński, Erich
Leinsdorf, George Szell, Lorin Maazel, Christoph von Dohnányi, and Franz Welser-Möst — have guided and shaped the ensemble’s growth and sound. Through concerts at home and on tour, broadcasts, and a catalog of acclaimed recordings, The Cleveland Orchestra is heard today by a growing group of fans around the world.
