As I reflect on my first six months at Loyola High School, I am filled with immense gratitude for the ongoing support of our donors who continue to champion the success of our mission through the Empower Loyola Campaign, Annual Appeal and general giving. Your generosity fuels our ability to nurture and develop future leaders.
The Empower Loyola Campaign has been transformative, allowing us to enhance our facilities, provide financial assistance to deserving students, recruit and retain employees, and expand opportunities for academic, spiritual and extracurricular growth. Dear Loyola Community,
Thank you for your generous support of Loyola and the young men that we serve. Loyola is a unique mission, committed to accepting every interested and qualified young man regardless of his family’s particular financial situation. This commitment, since our founding in 1993, results in annual paid tuition typically only covering five percent of the actual cost of educating a young man at Loyola The balance of the funds needed to support the work comes from our generous donors and benefactors.
We are blessed and very grateful for the individuals and organizations highlighted in our President’s Report and for their investment and commitment to Loyola and the young men and families we serve. Without this support, Loyola could not do what we do every day here at 15325 Pinehurst.
Each of you in your own unique way has helped us get to where we are today and ensure that Loyola remains a vibrant “Beacon of Hope” in our community. Whether it is helping to spread the good word of our work, purchasing a raffle ticket for our Tigers event, helping to underwrite our campus expansion, or simply keeping our young men and our mission in your prayers Loyola would not exist without your support.

Unlike many traditional private high schools, Loyola depends on the generosity of our donors and our community to provide 95 percent of our yearly budget through contributions

Capital Campaign Update
Since launching the quiet phase of our Empower Loyola Campaign in 2021, Loyola has worked to secure resources for the $9 million initiative to transform our campus and strengthen our financial position. We are excited to report that thanks to the generous support of our donors and benefactors, we broke ground on the campus expansion in summer 2023, with the new facility set to open in spring 2025.
In addition, the campaign has helped strengthen our Scholarship Fund and Faculty Development Fund, ensuring Loyola has the resources to support both current and future Bulldogs.
New Chapel
After the loss of our nearly 100-year-old chapel in 2018 due to a roof collapse, we are excited to open a new chapel in Spring 2025 It will be the heart of our campus ministry, continuing traditions since 1993. In addition to daily morning prayers, a cornerstone of life at Loyola, it will host our monthly all-school Masses and serve as a space for school and community events that foster connection and growth.
Welcome Center
Loyola’s new front entrance will transform the school’s identity, making it “Fenkell facing” and strengthening our presence in the community and surrounding neighborhood. This new entrance will not only enhance visibility but also provide students, families and visitors with a more seamless and welcoming experience when entering and exploring our campus.
Student Courtyard
As part of the campus expansion, a former parking lot will be transformed into a peaceful space featuring beautiful landscaping and a courtyard This new area will offer students and staff a tranquil retreat, providing a much-needed escape from the usual hustle and bustle of a busy school day.
