Zooland Family Campground Near Asheboro, North Carolina
Finding a campground isn't too difficult these days in an age of full time RVing and homes on wheels. The old saying "home is where you park it" isn't an oddity anymore and campgrounds like Zooland Family Campground are plentiful and in general, conveniently located centrally and within a short distance from places that will interest the entire family. The Campground Zooland Family Campground once known as Banjo Creek prior to a management shift is located at 3671 Pisgah Covered Bridge Road near Asheboro NC, just a hop, skip and a jump away from the North Carolina Zoo, which also could explain the most recent name change. Zooland is a great family campground. Nature trails, an old wooden foot bridge across the Little River and a catch and release fishing pond are all on site for your enjoyment. The newly upgraded Putt-Putt golf course is surrounded by life sized zoo animals and a huge inflatable jumping pillow is available and will accommodate the entire family. What's New Some campground owners tell the campers their plans for the campground within a certain time frame; for example, paving roadways, leveling sites, upgrading electric and installing sewer sites but never seem to get around to fulfilling their promises.
