WELCOME TO THE NORTHALLERTON ‘OSCARS’ PROFESSIONAL SERVICE BUSINESS OF THE YEAR We wish you a warm welcome to the very first Love Northallerton Business Awards.

Love Northallerton is excited to celebrate the remarkable people who make our High Street truly special.

We had everything booked for a grand gala dinner at the Golden Lion Hotel back in March before the original lockdown came down.

But all was not lost - this autumn we are thrilled to transmit a virtual presentation ceremony on our social media platforms.

Here is a special presentation of what we like to think of as the Northallerton Oscars . . .

This category was open to professional business services in the town and they needed to give a brief summary of their biggest achievements in the last 12 months, what sets them apart from the competition and what makes their clients return again and again.

I would also like to express our appreciation to Tim Lichfield, our resident local radio presenter, who kindly agreed to compere our virtual awards.

This has been a particularly difficult year for businesses in Northallerton as we combat the consequences of the worldwide pandemic. But what always impresses me is the tremendous community spirit we have in our town and the willingness of businesses to work together to tackle our challenges.

This category was open to any business who consistently provides a good dining experience, whether you eat in or take away. This can include restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, pubs, hotels, and take-away establishments.

Lewis & Cooper practise skills learnt on training courses and they are inspired by locally produced food. They even hosted a Master Chef recently.
