ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS SPREADER BRACE KIT PROCEDURE FOR REPLACING SPREADER FOR STEPLADDER Note: If ladder side rail is damaged in any way, do not try to repair, destroy the ladder.

FIGURE No.- 1 Using a 1/4” drill bit remove the rivets attaching the spreader brace to the ladder by drilling through the thickness of the rivet curl on the inside of the ladder rail
1.- Attach new spreader brace to ladder as shown in figure 3 2.- Make sure top of spreader brace clip is facing up as shown 3.- Check ladder stability and operation before use

With the curl of the rivets removed gently tap rivets out by using 1/4” dia. punch
