I am a French-American architect with a BA and MA from the National School of Architecture Paris-Belleville, where I graduated in 2019. I recently obtained my architectural license in France and have accumulated five years of professional experience at various firms in Paris, specializing in residential projects. I am now eager to advance my career in the U.S., driven by a passion for housing projects and a strong interest in construction techniques.

Residential project made of a post and beam structure with a concrete base and two buildings covered with brick cladding.
The project engages in a dialogue with the urban context by aligning itself with the adjacent building and proposing a built volume that replicates the dimensions of the existing building located in front of the plot.
Except for the one-bedroom apartments, every unit has at least two orientations and benefits from large terraces.
The courtyard is generously planted, providing cool air in the warm summers.
This small project, designed for a local public housing agency, is located on an empty plot of land in the close suburbs of Paris. It is composed of 6 housing units, ranging from studio to 3 bedroom apartments. The structure of the building is made of a concrete post-beam structure and concrete slabs. The 2 unique facades (one on the street, the other on the courtyard) are made of wooden frames filled with hempcrete and covered with a lime plaster finish, providing high thermal inertia. All of the apartments have windows on the street and the small courtyard, improving natural ventilation inside the dwellings.
This gut rehab project located in the heart of Paris consists in the creation of 34 dwellings for a local public housing agency (Batigère), workshops, office spaces and two commercial premises in two buildings from the 19th century. The first issue here was to design apartments that meet the curent housing standards in very tight and narrow spaces. We overcame this by regrouping smaller spaces together to benefit the more generous spaces inside the apartments and by exploiting the small courtyards in the back of the building (see green rectangles on floor plan next page). The second issue was to come up with an extension (required by the client) wich would not degrade the main courtyard. This was delt with by creating two small town houses generating one big courtyard and two smaller gardens in the back of each houses (see view on left image). This alternation of full and empty enriches the pathway leading to each hallways.
The ambition of this project was to make cohexist two separate programs on a same plot : student apartments and condominiums. Although each program have their own acces, a common grid patern for the facades was chosen.
Housing project and nursery build on two urban infills. The nursery is located on the 2nd floor in the north building, the build surface is dedicated to housing. Almost all apartments are orientend on street and courtyard, improving air quality. Appartments facing south on courtyard benefit from wintergardens next page) improving thermal comfort.
250 student housing units and 14 condominiums in Rennes, France - 2021
In France, the current policy for the care of dependent elderly individuals appears to be primarily divided between, on one hand, the creation of specialized facilities for dependent elderly individuals, such as nursing homes, and on the other hand, the development of assistance and home care services throughout the territory. While a ‘third way’ seems to have emerged in recent years, such as ‘intermediate housing’, understood as an intermediary between a facility and a home, this type of housing does not seem to solve the often inevitable transition from home to a medical facility, often perceived as displacement and trauma by the elderly and their families.
In attempt to adress this issue, this project combines ‘ordinary’ housing and a healthcare facility, in order to ensure a home and provide medical assitance if needed. In other words, the aim of this combination is to allow individuals to age in their homes for as long as possible and ideally, to pass away there, since this is the wish of most of the French population.
The project is located in Avrillé, a suburb of Angers, where there is an aging population. The demographic situation in this town is representative
of a comon trend of the development of ‘rings of aging municipalities’ around medium and large French cities, where the needs related to the elderly are significant. Therefore, Avrillé provides a suitable testing ground to explore new forms of housing that address the challenges of aging.
The project is situated on a city entrance site, currently occupied by a park-and-ride facility for the final stop of the only tram in Angers, as well as a commercial area with its parking spaces. The housing units are organized in groups of two or four aparments. with attention given to pathways and thresholds to facilitate movement and encourage social interactions. The healthcare facility is located above the park-and-ride, which is mostly preserved. Also, a café and a grocery store are proposed as complementary programs to the park-and-ride and healthcare facility.

The suburbs of Austin are experiencing unprecedented demographic growth and urban sprawl. This semester focused on Leander, a city located just under an hour’s drive from Austin. After analyzing the main structuring axes and key points of the city, this work consisted of envisioning parcel divisions that would lead to urban forms denser than the typical suburban house.
