Odyssey The Global Preschool, was established in Asia in 2008 with the vision of being the global representation for innovative early childhood education. Odyssey is now an award-winning preschool with seven campuses across Singapore and Malaysia. In April 2025, in its first exclusive opening outside of Asia, Odyssey’s eighth campus is coming to Marylebone, London.
Odyssey provides children with the autonomy to explore without hindrance, nurtures their inquisitiveness and is built around the concept that the world is their classroom.
We are committed to carefully and individually nurturing each child. We bring together the best atmosphere for learning, with 21st century pedagogies, our research-based curriculum, stateof-the-art learning spaces and the best-in-class educators. Odyssey offers an exceptional approach to early childhood education through experimentation, exploration and experiential learning.
Our dedicated educators and specialist teachers nurture each child with professionalism, innovation, warmth and creativity. This helps our children develop into competent, confident and empowered learners with an open-mindedness, understanding and curiosity about the world.
The Odyssey Curriculum
Inspired by the most innovative and internationally acclaimed teaching pedagogies, including the child-centred Reggio Emilia educational practice from Northern Italy, our cuttingedge curriculum is centred on experiences that promote 21st century skills like critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and communication. It also focuses on inquiry and experiential learning that challenges children to engage their minds, hearts and hands to learn.
The UK curriculum is authentic to the Odyssey philosophy and principles, and well-established programmes developed in Asia, while also ensuring it both meets and exceeds the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which all UK early years providers must follow.
Developed with age-appropriate content for children aged between 0-5 years old, The Odyssey Curriculum prioritises differentiated and personalised learning, catering to each child’s individual developmental progress and readiness to learn.
This is the overarching pedagogical principle that advocates children as directors of their own learning, where they are nurtured to become competent learners and active citizens of the world.
The Odyssey experience is founded on the belief that the world is the classroom, which means that learning can happen anywhere, anytime and with anyone.
The Odyssey team of versatile educators are highly qualified and trained in their respective areas of expertise to promote and facilitate an innovative curriculum.
The Odyssey Curriculum is differentiated and customised to offer learning that is personalised, enabling children to learn and thrive at their own pace.
Our unique assessment framework promotes continuous evolution of the curriculum unique to each child, to ensure they’re always progressing towards the next exciting step.

A smile on a child’s face puts a smile on mine! I enjoy being around them and creating opportunities for them to learn. Witnessing their growth warms my heart and motivates me to keep doing what I am doing.

The Odyssey Marylebone campus is a carefully crafted environment with unique facilities to support selfdirected learning
Parent involvement, active home-school collaboration and opportunities to network have become platforms for supporting children in their early years development and promoting family interests in raising happy, healthy children.
Parents form an integral part of a successful early childhood education programme. Active participation in the school life of children has been proven to promote optimal learning outcomes for children. At Odyssey, parents are respected as unique individuals who have a special relationship, unique knowledge and understanding of the child. Recognising this, the school engages parents as a valuable resource and active contributing members of the school.
Children seeing their parents involved in their classroom fills
them with pride and appreciation for learning and the world. That is the ideal situation for learning, growing and bonding; the culture we practise in Odyssey.
Odyssey creates engagement opportunities for parents to join us in the classroom and have first-hand experience in the various ways that children learn, explore the world, and express themselves.
Through activities from simple storytelling, to puppetry sessions, cooking demonstrations and show-and-tells; parents-in-class contribute a different perspective, voice and experience for the children.
The child, the parents and the Odyssey team are one community that works together to support every child’s development journey and achieve continuity of learning between home and Odyssey. The community plays an active role in guiding progress and objectives for the child’s learning.
We are pleased to welcome parents into the centre every six months to discuss learning goals for the coming months, and to evaluate and evolve plans based on progress.

“ We love the school – not just us as parents but our kids enjoy going to school!
What’s more important is the school curriculum and the school environment. They have a wonderful and well-integrated programme that prepares the kids for primary school. The compound space itself is huge, which means the kids can enjoy a running space, play through various outdoor activities, music classes, and water play. And that’s exactly what we hope to provide for our kids – a holistic learning journey during their formative years.”

“My son joined Odyssey 13 months ago. He loves the environment and teachers. Odyssey’s attentiveness to safety and focus on providing a holistic learning experience for the kids is inspiring. Each week, the Odyssey teachers carefully plan activities that broaden the learning horizons of the preschoolers.
“ Treating my child as an individual, the teachers have been working closely with me to help my son achieve key development milestones. On a weekly basis, they share my son’s progress no matter how small. Odyssey’s key tenets of care, dedication and creativity help keep my young one engaged, excited to learn and most of all, grow into a confident young boy.”
