Polyptych: Emovere is a series of works for multi-tracked electro-acoustic and acoustic violin where Camilla exploits extended violin techniques and electronics to create an array of sonic effects. Camilla has approached her composition as an expression of her own neurodivergent emotional experience.

The five, individual sound-movement works are organised as a ‘polyptych’, telling a series of compelling stories about human emotion and to expose in sound the soundless soundtrack of connection that exists between people. The intent of the album is to create a space where the audience bathes in emotion, a sonicperformance/listening experience that creates a sensorial, visceral connection with feelings of human connection where the listener is encouraged to experience a range of their own emotions, prompted by the musical experience. While Camilla composed with her own emotions in mind, each listener will hear and respond to the music differently. Some of Camilla’s interest in creating music as a sensory experience comes from her interest in how the neurodivergent experience their environment.
