The Foyle Area and Carlingford Area (Angling) (Amendment) Regulations 2009 Made 18th November 2009 Coming into operation 1st January 2010 The Foyle, Carlingford and Irish Lights Commission, with the approval of the North/South Ministerial Council, makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 13(1) of the Foyle Fisheries Act 1952 and section 13(1) of the Foyle Fisheries Act (Northern Ireland) 1952 and now vested in it.
Citation and commencement 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Foyle Area and Carlingford Area (Angling) (Amendment) Regulations 2009 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2010. Amendment of the Foyle Area and Carlingford Area (Angling) Regulations 2001 2.—(1) The Foyle Area and Carlingford Area (Angling) Regulations 2001 are amended in accordance with paragraphs 2 and 3. (2) In regulation 4 (prohibitions and restrictions) for paragraph (1) substitute— “(1) A person shall not angle for fish in or from any waters of the River Roe, River Faughan, Clanrye River, River Finn, River Strule or the River Mourne described in Schedule 2.” (3) For Schedule 2 (areas where angling is prohibited) substitute the Schedule set out in the Schedule.
