I hope everyone has been practicing their Bocce Leagues are coming to the Louisville Boat Club! Finally, we have a strong May in the pickleball world The outdoor pickleball courts are up and running and have been packed as the weather is turning nice We have a consistently great turnout for our Saturday leagues and are excited for that to continue throughout May and deep into the summer A reminder that Lou City Interclub pickleball will be starting its spring session on May 9th and will conclude on May 30th The league is on Tuesdays from 6-7:30 Finally, save the date for a great pickleball event on Friday, May 19th as part of our Friday Night Light series The event will be a fun happy hour event that will feature pickleball drinks, and snacks Please stay tuned for more details

I hope everyone is ready for a fun May and what could be considered a “ warm-up ” month to get us ready for a great summer We hope to see a lot of you out there participating in our events and getting on the court, whether it is tennis, pickleball or paddle tennis, or bocce

The Open-To-All World The Open-To-All World of Fast Feeds of Fast Feeds

Last week, five of us battled for tennis dominance despite the fact that none of us had ever played with each other before, we were all an oddball mix of B and C-level players, and we were a mix of men and women. Our opponent? A fast feed, in this case, a fast feed named Drew. Here's the deal. Fast feeds require no reservations (although it's nice), they're always on, and everyone is welcome. Best of all, you get pointers, meet people, pay a few bucks for the hour- and you never look bad on the court because we ' re all playing against the feed. If you ' re shy, need a solid workout, are new, or getting in some play before Interclub, this is the hour for you. I know I love it.

Please join the Indoor Cycling Class. Normally the first Monday of the month, the May class will be held on Wednesday, May 10th at 5:30 pm due to the Boat Race Party.
