Dear LBC Members:

As May quickly approaches, I am excited for our upcoming Boat Race party to kick off the Summer events at the Club This event has become a beloved tradition in our Club and we are thrilled to be able to host it once again We hope your family and friends can join us for an evening of fun food music, and cocktails as we celebrate this exciting time of the year Viewing may not be possible from the docks this year They have held well over the past several winters but took a beating this year Restoration has already begun, but it may take several weeks They will be ready for boat season

I would also like to take a moment to extend a special thank you to Kenny Goodlet, Facility Director, for his 40 years of dedicated service to the club His hard work and commitment have ensured that the Club is always in top shape and we are extremely grateful for all he has done for us over the years I truly do not know where we would be without him and his staff

Looking ahead, we have some exciting events planned for the upcoming months Our Friday night light events will start soon and involve tennis pickleball, bocce ball, and entertainment at the pavilion I invite you all to come out and participate in these activities with your fellow members Private parties in these areas are also a great alternative to “home” entertaining Reach out to George and/or Travis for details

Once again, thank you for your continued support of the Louisville Boat Club We are proud to have such a vibrant and engaged community of members and we look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events
