Transfer Academy is a learning community that supports students interested in transfer while they navigate major and career exploration We focus on the transition to college, especially for first-generation students and students unsure about their major

This program is especially for students headed to transfer as majors in Science and math-based fields Majors include: Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, and Physics
Puente utilizes Chicano/Latino literature to foster a sense of community for first-generation college students and prepares students to transfer to four-year colleges through counseling, rigorous English courses, and mentoring
This presentation is designed to inform families about the LMC college culture, their role in supporting their student(s) including learning about FERPA and all the valuable resources and tools to help students be successful alongside some financial aid options Each family will leave assured that LMC is the best fit for their student!
