YEAR 9 DUKE OF EDINBURGH

At the inaugural combined Year 9 Duke of Edinburgh Camp, students embarked on an adventure that explored Sydney, notably the UNESCO Cockatoo Island, Bradley’s Head, Greenwich, the Lane Cove River and the Manly to Spit trail. With grit, humour and perseverance on constant display, students learnt to cook on a Trangia, set up tents in torrential rain, and navigate multiple modes of transport. It was truly a once-ina-lifetime experience! A total of 132 students are completing their Duke of Edinburgh Award – the most in Loreto Kirribilli’s history!
