Hoover CombiMicrowave User Interface Design Il progetto viene da un brief assegnato dal Marketing, con la richiesta di sviluppare una nuova estetica e un nuova User Interface da zero. La richiesta include la necessità di avere una interfaccia totalmente piatta (solo con pulsanti softtouch e nessuna manopola) e di utilizzare uno schermo LCD già esistente. La fattibilità è stata garantita durante l’intero processo di sviluppo grazie all’assistenza del team di Ricerca e Sviluppo. The design comes by a Marketing-given brief, asking to develop a new aesthetics a User Interface by zero. It was required to be totally flat-surfaced (only softtouch button, no knobs) and to use an already existent liquid crystal display. Feasibility has been guaranteed by a constant assistance by the R&D team.

Il progetto finale considera differenti parametri, tra cui la brand identity, l’usabilitù e i trend attuali nell’UX design. E’ stata sviluppata attraverso uno sforzo sinergico tra Design, Marketing e R&D.
Visual design of a touch-sensitive interface for a Hoover branded oven. The final design considers parameters such as brand identity, usability and current trend in UX design. It has been developed with a sinergic work between Design, Marketing and R&D.
La navigazione è basata su due modalità principali: il Ricettario da un lato e la regolazione manuale dall’altra. Gli utenti potranno anche arricchire il ricettario con ricette personali e trasferendo dati attraverso la connessione wifi. Navigation is based on two principal modes: the Recipe Book and the manual adjustment. User can also add custom recipes transfering data from mobile and tablet, thanks to a wifi connected platform.

The visual identity of the project is applied to printable graphic contents, on the online platform, which is designed to be used on desktop and mobile device, on the packagings and in the development of a sustainable transport service in collaboration with existing car sharing services.

Packaging per prodotto DOP ispirato ai colori della Sicilia Orientale. Coniuga estetica e funzionalitĂ grazie alla sua etichetta rigida, rimovabile e utilizzabile come vassoio di portata. Packaging for a DOP product, inspired by the colors of Eastern Sicily. It combines aesthetics and functionality, thanks to its rigid cover, that can be removed and used a table tray.

Kit for mushroom cultivation at home, integrating the functions of packaging for mycelium and the ones of container.

Annaffiare ogni mattina i funghi con uno spruzzino. 6. Dopo circa 10 giorni compariranno i primi ovuli emergere. Raccoglierli dopo 20 giorni.

This world map is part of a series realized during a workshop with Palomar, is born from the attempt to create a new method for geographic representation, using a color key that makes no distinction among land and oceans, creating a surprising effect on the observer.

Libelle balanced-arm lamp Composta da due bracci e da una testina inclinabile, questa lampada da tavolo sfrutta una struttura flessibile con una molla in tensione nascosta all’interno dei due bracci, in maniera analoga a prodotti quali, ad esempio, la lampada Tolomeo di Michele De Lucchi. Libelle is a desklamp composed by two flexible arm and a turnable cap, using the same structures of lamps such as Michele De Lucchi’s Tolomeo, hiding a spring inside the section of the arms.

Eau thermos flask for infusions Il prodotto è un contenitore termico isolante ideato per la preparazione di bevande calde infuse, quali tÊ e tisane, adattabile a differenti contesti (in auto, in ufficio, per strada...). La doppia parete trasparente in policarbonato consente all’utente di verificare quando la propria bevanda infusa sia pronta. The product is a thermal insulant container designed for the preparation of hot infused drinks such as tea and coffe. The product is meant to be used in different context (road, car, office, home...). The use of a doble layer in transparent polycarbonate allows the user to verify the doneness of the drink.

Breathe home farming system for microalgae Scopo del progetto è stato lo sviluppo di un prodotto per la coltivaione indoor di microalge come Chlorella e Spirulina, fornendo cibo con alto contenuto proteico e vitaminico e migliorando la qualità dell’aria grazie al processo di fotosintesi. Il progetto ha considerato le pratiche attuali per coltivazione in laboratorio, riadattando tali strumenti per una migliore funzionalità ed estetica. Aim of the project is the design of a product for the indoor cultivation of microalgae such as Chlorella and Spirulina, providing food with high protein and vitamin contents and enhancing air quality through the photosyntesis process. The project considered current practices for cultivation in laboratories, readapting tools for better functionality at home and enhancing aesthetics.

TriplaHoop display for temporary exhibitions Il brief richiese l’applicazione di soluzioni per la riduzione dell’impatto ambientale attraverso la ridefinizione della logistica, della struttura, dei componenti. L’impatto ambientale è stato calcolato attraverso l’uso del software SIMAPRO 7. The brief request was to redesign a display for exhibition in order to reduce the environmental impact redefining the logistics, the structure and the components. The environmental impact has been estimeed through the use of the software SIMAPRO 7.
Comparing the LCA from the existing solution with the new concept, it resulted the possibility to reduce strongly the environmental impact. The improvement is related in particular to transportation, thanks to the use of ready made solutions that are easy to find in each seat of the exhibition.

Sono nato a RImini nel 1989 e dal 2009 vivo a Milano, dove mi sono trasferito per seguire gli studi di Disegno Industriale presso il Politecnico di Milano, dove ho conseguito nel 2015 la Laurea Magistrale, presentando una tesi seguita dal professor Lorenzo De Rosa (Sovrappensiero Design Studio) che affronta la tematica del microfarming domestico di alimenti sostenibili ed alto contenuto proteico (nello specifico, microalghe). Dal 2013 ho affiancato agli studi l’attività lavorativa, dapprima collaborando presso lo studio Design Innovation di Milano, successivamente lavorando presso il reparto Kitchen Appliance del Gruppo Candy-Hoover, multinazionale attiva nel settore degli elettrodomestici. Parlando delle mie prospettive future, posso dire che il mio interesse è potermi occupare della comunicazione dei valori di brand attaverso il design, senza limitazioni di tipo scolastico tra product, graphic e interior design.
I was born in Rimini in 1989 and since 2009 I live in Milan, where I moved to study in Industrial Design at Politecnico di Milan: here I pursued my Master’s Degree in Industrial Design, with a thesis supervised by Professor Lorenzo De Rosa (Sovrappensiero Design Studio) concerning with the issue of domestic microfarming of sustainable foods with high proteic contents such as microalgae. From 2013 I started working, first with a collaboration with Design Innovation studio in Milan, then with the multinational Candy-Hoover Group, in the Kitchen Appliances Division. Considering my future prospects, I aspire to become proficient in the communication of brand values through the design process, without scholastics limitations among what is product, graphic and interior design.
