This Protection Plan is important for both buyers and sellers.

The seller's coverage is a policy that helps cover the repair and replacement costs during the listing and escrow period. Should any system or appliances unexpectedly break down due to normal wear and tear, HomeGuard would help cover the cost of the repair. They only thing the seller or agent would pay is the Trade Service Request Fee (aka Deductible) or anything over the coverage limit.

The buyer's coverage does need to be ordered in conjunction with the seller's coverage. Keep in mind the “temporary buyer's policy” can be changed pending on what the allowance amount is agreed on. For instance, since seller's coverage is offered we recommend stating in the contact seller's choice since the policy is set in place to help the sellers.

This can be paid through escrow at the end of the transaction. It does not need to be paid up front. Pre-existing issues would not be covered for seller's or buyer's coverage.

Our Seller’s Protection Plan (SPP) is a FREE $25,000 Errors and Omissions Policy that automatically kicks in to protect sellers of an owner- occupied home* against any unforeseen disclosure violations.

INSURANCE BENEFITS

Sellers will be protected for 180 days from the close of escrow but can select to extend the term an additional 180 days for a $200 fee.

When stacked with specific CRES Home Warranty /NHD report, coverage can be increased up to $100,000 to pay for attorney's fees and damages.**

Sellers AND buyers both have peace of mind when they know they are covered, and any potential claims can be settled swiftly.

Add $50,000 when you purchase a 13-month home warranty with CRES insurance through any of the following companies:
