FASHION LUXURY COMPANY
CAMPUS OF EXCELLENCE
New center of excellence for a well-known company, in a new plant complex that will respond to the needs of the firm to develop its entire research and development process for manufactured leather products. In addition to the characteristic uses inherent to production, the building also has a canteen, a multipurpose room and a gym.
The architecture is configured by parallel vaults that adapt their width and height to the uses of the program. They are supported by pairs of crossed arches on which the “skins” that shape the curved roofs are placed. The vaults are inspired by the stallions where the skins are collected before being turned into extraordinary artisanal products.
Nature plays a fundamental role in the project. The building’s users have constant visual contact with the outside, whether it’s the staff working in the offices, production or warehouse. Interior courtyards are created so that the passage of time can be perceived and work can be done with natural light.
Natural elements are also present in the building’s materiality, with wood being the main material. A ceramic roof is placed over the structure, covering open spaces where the different activities take place.
Just as a craftsman crafts a piece of leather and transforms it into a unique work of art, we have shaped the company’s demands for excellence to create an inspiring and iconic space. Generating a place where innovation is naturally possible requires providing it with a transversal character that encourages the interaction of the teams from the different areas of the center of excellence.

Designing a non-existent object is always very challenging especially when it comes to light. We often stop at the archetypical typologies, references to the surface the light is bound to, of which the market is now saturated by.
The choice to design the combination of a cap and a light came after the careful analysis of some of our daily showed that we often move from one work surface to another, at times needing additional light due to the bottle came after identifying it as an element present among many actions in the kitchen and at home, and even more broadly in our daily lives.
LIGHT EXPERIMENT
The aim of the brief was to think beyond the prevalent restrictions of lamps to single surfaces, to something that can move from place to place unrestricted.
As seen on the images, every bottle can become a unique lamp.
The proposed solution hat-trick can easily move from one place to another, easily adapting to a new environment due to its diverse members, while being completely free from any connection to the wall. The battery is charged through a wireless charger.

·THE NEW MILAN DESIGN WEEK 2021·
The project starts at the city of Milan, that in September 2021 will be calling to all the people related to design, after a year and a half of COVID pandemic. We think is a moment to celebrate, to encourage people to come to
ces that somehow have to be unwrapped. It is an experience related to Augmented Reality to engage people to come to Milan for the Design week, and to display the projects exhibited on it. It was given that name because to discover the Milan Design Week two experiences that somehow have to be unwrapped are proposed.
Milan Design Week, in order to attract more visitors and empower the company in social media. We choose personalimedia.

Touching it, a video will be displayed full screen, encouraging them to come to Milan and enjoy the Milan Design Week.
02. EXHIBITION PHASE
In the exhibition phase, we create a double way path that will display the real design objects. People will arrive to the exhibition, and will walk on one way through the path, being able to see just the pieces of furniture. Once they arrive at the end, they will come back to the beginning, but this time pointing the objects with their phone to reveal the Augmented Reality.
The interface conceived is really easy, simplifyinng the way of use and the recognisable shape of the hand-made share with all the ir followers in their social media.
03. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
The interface continues the simplicity line of the chocolates box, revealing a multi option menu related to each object of the exhibition.
People will be able to explore three aspects re-content, as sketches made by the design studio, or more information about the designer.
bition organized can vary on shape and size, but the idea keeps strong.
Besides, the augmented reality can have a second life, displaying it on social media of the companies involved. In this way people will be able to enjoy the exhibition even if they are not in Milan.
