Admissions GUIDE FOR PARENTS

A

Welcome

Each year we enrol around 60 children into our Junior House in Year 7 (1st Form), and 60 into the Senior School in Year 9 (3rd Form). In addition, each year students join us in the Sixth Form from schools, both in the local area, and from further afield. Entry into other year groups is possible dependent on availability.

We are selective but not ‘highly selective’ and rather than test already established knowledge, our application process looks to discover how each child thinks and to understand their individual learning Wepotential.offerfull, weekly and flexi boarding in all year groups as well as day places.

LWC welcomes pupils from all over the world. We have a thriving international community with students from around the world.

The Lord Wandsworth Foundation supports children who have been bereaved of one or both parents or have lost their support through other circumstances, to benefit from the structure and stability of a boarding environment. Our Open Days are informal occasions and include a welcome from the Headmaster, a tour of our beautiful campus with one of our pupils, and an opportunity to meet with the Admissions team.

Open Days allow you to ask lots of questions and to really get a feel of what makes our school so special.
