Lord of Life’s Capital Campaign Benevolence Grants—
V V V V V
First Recipients
Last year Lord of Life undertook a capital campaign for the purpose of eliminating the debt on our new addition. As part of that effort we decided that 10 percent of the gifts were going to be given to organizations working to help those broken by life’s circumstance or living on the margins of society. The Lord of Life Congregation Council is proud to announce the recipients of the first $40,000 in grants:
>>>Breakthrough Ministry: $5,000
These monies provide transportation, shelter, and meals to homeless individuals in south Minneapolis.
>>>Brooklyn Avenues for Homeless Youth: $6,000

>>>Sub-Saharan African Youth/Family Services: $1,950
This grant support materials needed for the women’s selfsufficiency program, Under One Roof, in St. Paul (bottom photo). As funds are received throughout 2015 further grants will be awarded. Thanks for making these gifts possible. Top:
