From a forgotten rooftop to a fun-filled gathering space. The main requirement from the client is to repurpose the space into a place where friends and family members can hang out yet also include a green space where warm food can be served.
We decided to have a glass extension from the existing roof so users can feel connected with others who are using the outdoor space which is also surrounded by plants. This can create a great outdoor for fresh air. On the inside, users can turn the space from a personal bar to a poker room, home theatre, and even a private karaoke room.
As already a very strong color for the interior, Red is chosen to be the main color for the space to create a cozy and a focus point, which creates something memorable that is perfect since the function of the area is a gathering space for friends and family.
There are various functions inside the room including the Bar itself, home theater, poker space & table soccer which for sure can serve every single family member.
There will be a big dining table and a few other outdoor seats where bbq can be served from the newly built wet kitchen.

To add the softness and to complement the dome bar design by design and place the sofa right across from it. Both the terracotta velvet fabric and pattern fabric on the pillows were carefully selected to make sure they match well and still give such character to the space.

What's better to complete the bar than this floral pendant light? The perfect floral detail hiding inside the pendant can only be seen once you stand below it during the drink ordering or talk at the bar counter. It's also giving a soft touch and contrast to the rough bar red wall finish.

To make the extension stand out is one of our intentions and it surely it after the build complete. A sleek red glass wall can be easily noticed especially when we compare it to the quiet surrounding.
Furnishing Furniture and Home Styling is what Venly Home Service/provides. Display shelves, island, and countertops are things that need to pair with their products.
Knowing there will be thousands if not hundreds types of products will be shown and displayed in the store, the choice of color, style, and function of the display shelf and other displays has to be careful and important. To make sure it gives fun and freedom to users to be creative with how they are displaying their products from day to day and to make sure all the shelves are not flashy or gimmicks all the goodies yet to blend in well with the interior and make sure all goods will standout.

Since it will be one of the main pieces of furniture in the store, a distinctive character will be needed to make it pair well with actual products.
So this island table was decided to go with a simple rectangle wooden frame top with travertine stone yet to make it more special, exposed butt joints were used rather than trying to conceal it.

These shelves will be used in interior decoration shop, so there will be various types of products in different sizes. To make it adjustable in terms of height between each row is crucial. With that in mind, I came up with this simple design that will only need 2 sets that can be used as 3 sets in total while all wooden parts can be adjusted or removed as users wish.
Reclaimed wood, old wood that was repurposed from various resources especially from demolished old wooden houses from flooring to wall, window, and even column. It is the main material that is used to make all
Rather than throwing them all away yet to repurpose and upcycle those wooden planks by giving them a second life. Reclaimed wood normally is imperfect in its appearance yet its endurance is very strong, especial ly with temperature changes. Different shades between planks clearly show that different parts or types of wood from different sources were used to combine while there are nail hole marks left on different parts of the wood from the previous use. These imperfect appearances carry a whole lot of history from the past with them.

Damnak Trach Resort is a getaway place surrounded by cashews and mango farms located in Kompot Province, 2h away from a busy capital city, Phnom Penh.
To design a masterplan for the overall resort designing each facility's building (including a Lobby, restaurant, small house, rice field house, pool area & spa/massage) to pieces of furniture and even furnishing/styling the final look are all our tasks to do. The only requirement from the owner is for us to make that peaceful getaway spot for the visitor.
With such an amount of trust from the project owner, we accomplished the overall study for Domnak Trach Resort to the finest detail.

In other to improve the existing building, we extend the depth of the building to the pond and the length of longer. To ensure that visitors get the maximum experience, an open hall was designed for this zone. Visitors will be great with a 360-degree view upon arrival. Cool air from the pond at the back, full thick green farm at the front.
A peaceful lobby is hidden inside a cashew farm, waiting to serve visitors from a busy city.
Some loose pieces of furniture including the front counter, bench, drink counter, and table are customized to fit with the surroundings and style.
Simple, clean straight design would be the first thing to say on the first glace, but once we are paying more attention to look at the detail, a lot of small touches were put into each piece. just like a puzzle, one piece of wood or steel is stacked on top of one another. This small detail creates such character and can be found on all of the pieces in the lobby hall.

“8 houses” was named after the fact that there are eight iden tical units built on a cashew field. This zone/ type of house was never in the original master plan. It was a sudden request from the client under requirements that it should be blended along with others and to build this zone first.
Time was the only enermy we had during the design and construction process. We had to make sure that the design would go well with others, to only remove as little as cashew tree we could, and make sure the construction process would go as smoothly and fast.

perfect for evening chill out, a sunset spot with a 360-degree view, and an open sky for a hundred stars once the sun goes down.
big windows/ doors can be found in every corner of the room to give such a connection inside out with the green surrounding for those who stay in the room.
Located in a hidden deep thick rubber farm in Kompong Thom province, an empty land where surrounded by a lake that is ready to be developed into a private house for staff gathering and getting away from the capital city during the weekend.
There are lots so open spaces where groups of people can gather and enjoy their time together. Different types of rooms were designed along with empty lots on the green field for tents as well.
With a lot of big openings, not only a natural green view but natural fresh air and light will get in very well as well.
