CONDO WITH A GRAND VIEW When Amy and Marc Franco purchased their sixthfloor residence in Grandview at Bay Beach, they envisioned a whimsical and unique space that would be welcoming to their entire family. What started as an unknown, abstract idea of tropical colors but not overly “beachy,” was brought to life down to the very last detail – including a stylish teal coffee maker that needed just the right placement in a new coffee and wine bar. Anna Black, an interior designer with Romanza Interior Design, helped turn their vision into a reality.

“Anna took the time to get to know us, understand our vision and how we wanted to use each space,” said Marc. “She brought our home to life. We’re extremely proud of it and credit that to Romanza.”

The Grandview home is a carefree getaway for school breaks or weekend escapes and the Franco family wanted the interior design to help set the mood with bright colors and stylish touches. That meant incorporating vibrant, tropical colors – such as coral, orange, pink and teal – into their modern aesthetic.

Drawing inspiration from Matlacha artist Leona Lovegrove, Black worked closely with the Francos to create a space that is bright, bold, and expressive, while balancing modern and coastal influences.

Lovegrove’s influence is featured throughout the condominium, from the bright colors and unique textures to the wallpaper featuring a Lovegrove painting in the great room.

In the dining room, the team added threedimensional wallpaper and a pop of color on the cabinet to create interest.
