- wishing you the best as we go to infinity and beyond -
Advice from the Class of 2018 “Never take your phone out in Mr. Herrmann’s room without permission! Have fun with your friends, but don’t be afraid to make new friends! Always do your homework! Read lots of books! Always try and never give up! Junior year will be hard, but you can do it! Never ever ever take on two honors course and a college course in the same year! (Unless you are like the Flash or something) Don’t feel forced to date in high school!” -Becky Bates “Just roll with the punches. Whatever comes will come no matter what do, so learn to adapt and go with the flow. This will save you a lot of unnecessary stress and tears over the years, trust me.” -Ciara Rader “Don’t lie to yourself. You know you won’t do it later.” -Leileen Aguilar Offense is only created if we want it to. Loosen up and laugh with them because life is a joke, and jokes are only funny when experienced, not explained. -Salomon Gallo “focus on what will be important in the long run, not just what seems important in that exact moment of time” -Bhavisha Desai
“Keep pushing until the end” -George Corrales
“Four years does not fly by.” -KendaUkiru
“Do your best to explore your interests in high school. Try to map out what you want to do with your life, and start thinking early about colleges and career plans. It’s fine if you don’t have it all figured out by senior year (I know I sure don’t), but the sooner you have a plan, the easier it will be.” -Ciara Rader
“Don’t procrastinate. Plan ahead of time. Try bullet journaling. Keep a balanced social and personal life.” -Brendan Cocos
“Don’t feel like you HAVE to be involved in everything. If you wanna do something, do it, but if you don’t have time, don’t stress yourself about it too much. If you stretch yourself out too far, you won’t be able to give as much time to each activity as you would if you had done less.” -Julianne Magakat
“Do not ever think that you’re too cool to do something or participate in something. Highschool only comes once, so try to do everything. Go to all the vespers, participate in all the activities, meet new friends and so forth. Enjoy highschool.” -Kallan Kunihira
“Work hard and do your best in all of your classes and try to do yourself a favor by doing your work ahead of time. Most importantly don’t forget to have a lot of fun and enjoy your years in high school!” -Kailee Rohmer “Be receptive to the opportunities you are presented with, whether that be opportunities for worship and service through Campus Ministries, opportunities to interact with your classmates at class or SA events, or opportunities to learn in class. You’ll only receive as much as you are willing to receive.” -Shelly Rauser
“DO AND GO TO EVERY SINGLE ACTIVITY” -Ken Cautivar “Dont worry too much, enjoy now” -Lauren Wilson “Try to participate in as many class events as possible. It really helps you to bond with your classmates and form friendships, and missing out on all the fun stuff that happens sucks.” -Marco Ruiz
“Don’t overwork yourself” -Tate Gavanza
“Be involved and don’t be scared to try everything you’re interested in! Even if your friends aren’t doing it and you don’t know anyone, just go for it because that’s how you meet more people!” -Judy Chu “Include don’t exclude “ -Austin Oliver “Take your time and enjoy high school. It goes by fast in the blink of an eye. Take this time to explore yourself as an individual.” -Samara Khasru
“High school may seem and feel long, but it really does go by fast. Develop many friendships because as you branch out, you start understanding what true friendship looks and feels like. Push yourself to try new activities, whether or not it may seem interesting to you, because you may develop a passion that may ultimately shape your future.” -Rica Veluz
