I FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE ACUARELA Córdoba, Acuarela Y Patrimonio de la Humanidad 2023
Córdoba y provincia se caracterizan por su riqueza cultural y artística. Somos cuna de grandes artistas y grandes personalidades en todos los ámbitos y disciplinas. Patrimonio cultural e histórico inigualable que disfrutamos toda la ciudadanía cordobesa y que proyectamos al exterior.
Es fruto de esta proyección que se nos conozca en todos los rincones, y que haya resultado todo un éxito la convocatoria del festival que venimos a celebrar, el I Festival Internacional de Acuarela IWSArte21online que se celebrará en Córdoba en el Palacio de la Merced, en nuestra Diputación Provincial.
Este festival es una oportunidad para conocer y apreciar la rica cultura de Córdoba y su provincia, y las y los artistas podrán capturar su belleza en acuarela mientras nos visitan.
La exposición se convierte en evento único que reúne a 212 artistas de 42 países, demostrando el verdadero alcance de la Sociedad Internacional de Acuarela, agradeciendo y felicitando el trabajo realizado por la plataforma IWS Globe Art que con esta exposición vienen a cumplir, a su vez, uno de sus objetivos, ampliar el enfoque singular de la acuarela e incluir todas las formas de arte para el intercambio cultural.
IWS-Arte21online es una de las sucursales que representa a Andalucía y España en el mundo de la acuarela, y forma parte de la misión de IWS de llevar el amor, la paz y la armonía a través del arte a toda la ciudadanía.
Como Diputada de Cultura de la Diputación de Córdoba es un honor dar la bienvenida a las personas participantes de todo el mundo a este festival de acuarela en Córdoba y su provincia, esperando que esta experiencia sea una aventura artística y cultural inolvidable.
Cordoba and its province are characterised by their cultural and artistic wealth. We are the birthplace of great artists and great personalities in all fields and disciplines. We have an unrivalled cultural and historical heritage which is enjoyed by all the citizens of Cordoba and which we project to the outside world.
It is the result of this projection that we are known far and wide, and that the festival we have come to celebrate, the I International Watercolour Festival IWS-Arte21online to be held in Cordoba at the Palacio de la Merced, in our Provincial Council, has been a great success.
This festival is an opportunity to get to know and appreciate the rich culture of Cordoba and its province, and the artists will be able to capture its beauty in watercolour while they visit us.
The exhibition becomes a unique event that brings together 212 artists from 42 countries, demonstrating the true scope of the International Watercolour Society, thanking and congratulating the work done by the IWS Globe Art platform that with this exhibition come to fulfill, in turn, one of its objectives, to broaden the singular focus of watercolour and include all art forms for cultural exchange.
IWS-Arte21online is one of the branches representing Andalusia and Spain in the watercolour world and is part of the IWS mission to bring love, peace and harmony through art to all citizens.
As Deputy for Culture of the Cordoba Provincial Council it is an honour to welcome participants from all over the world to this watercolour festival in Cordoba and its province, hoping that this experience will be an unforgettable artistic and cultural adventure.

IWS-Arte21online organiza por primera vez el Festival Internacional de Acuarela en Córdoba. Córdoba es una ciudad conocida por su patrimonio histórico y por ser emblema de la convivencia entre culturas durante siglos. Esto hace una comunión ideal con los valores de la International Watercolor Society (IWS), que es promover y fomentar la paz y armonía mediante la acuarela.
En este Festival, nos ponemos como objetivo disfrutar del gran Patrimonio de nuestra ciudad y disfrutar junto a él de la técnica pictórica más antigua y arraigada del mundo.
Con la participación de más de 200 artistas de 30 países de todo el mundo este Festival está creado para poder ser una referencia a nivel internacional en el mundo de la acuarela.
Espero que disfrutéis pintando esta magnifica ciudad y que os llevéis en el recuerdo los momentos que viviremos juntos disfrutando de nuestra técnica favorita.

IWS-Arte21online organises for the first time the International Watercolour Festival in Cordoba. Cordoba is a city known for its historical heritage and for being an emblem of coexistence between cultures for centuries. This makes it an ideal communion with the values of the International Watercolor Society (IWS), which is to promote and foster peace and harmony through watercolour.
In this Festival, we aim to enjoy the great heritage of our city and to enjoy the world's oldest and most deeply rooted painting technique.
With the participation of more than 200 artists from 30 countries all over the world, this Festival is created to be an international reference in the watercolour world.
I hope you will enjoy painting this magnificent city and that you will remember the moments we will live together enjoying our favourite technique.
