Affordance in Movement was my M.Archproject that aims at providing the urban child with variations in their daily lifestyle.
As urban landscape of cities accommodates high volumes of high-rise buildings, making open space for moving and exploring limited and restricted.
This thesis seeks to provide a taxonomy of structures to learn or regain active mobility by integrating them into our everyday paths.
They spark the child-like curiosity and invite pedestrians to transverse the architecture and nature through, weaving among the trees and connecting to scattered nodes across the site.

Rhythms extracted from nature allow children to take more playful routes to get from Point A to B, while their guardians are able to still watch over them from safe distance
