Architecture for me is experience. The space, the tensions, the emotions. Perceiving, interpreting, creating, multiplying, integrating.... simply make something.
I want to provocate.
With the violence of architecture, very subtle and attentive. With sensitivity, without fear but with a strong urge. An urge to make something tangible. It is the nuocesn that no one can see, but everyone feels, though in a different way.
Maybe you hear the birds when you’re underwater but it’s always about the fish!

We developed objects from a movement, my focused was on the tension in space, as well as on human perception and its influence.

Was bleibt ist kein Gedanke daran, sondern die Sehnsucht darauf.
As a group project we built a prototype as a “Playobject”. We built a net construction which was stretched over 3x3m high columns. Since we could not build a foundation, we developed a self-supporting tensile structure. This object could be seen and tested in the Rundgang 2023 at the Academy of Fine Arts.

Concert Hall in Jakarta 2123
The sea level will rise several meters, to recover the lost public space a concert hall will be built near the old coastline. The project was a group project where each group member was given a seat with X number of seats. plante.
hot so cold, one beat, eternity
Music, like architecture, absolute in its present, it stands alone and needs no images or words of explanation. Perception, however, is the opposite pole, subjective. In my concept, I distinguish between two types of perception, of music. Shallow perception and deep perception. The shallow perception is cultural and intellectual, the deep perception is about the hidden emotions of the music without context and primarily from the artist. A blurred image, a strong feeling. It leaves you floating but throws you over the edge, glassy-eyed close to tears and yet happy and joyful as never before. Fever dream.
I see my concert hall as a place of unfolding, of becoming free and of being crushed. Drawn, compressed, free. It offers space for individual perception to open up, demands it penetratingly with the emphasis on maximum emotional output, whereby the rational is even blown out of the world without being considered. The space breathes with the ocean and changes its voice by distorting the visible space/volume, whereby precisely the diversity of voices are its roots and its primal drive.
