Laidley Rec Reserve fires up with toetapping beats, bright lights, street eats, and a boutique “makers and creators” market. SEQ musos bring the energy — pack a picnic blanket and settle in for a night of epic food, music, and pure atmosphere from 5pm–9pm.
Wake up and smell the fun, we’re kicking off at 8am grab your brew and breakfast, snag a fresh posie to brighten your day, and shop unique handmade treasures from our talented makers and creators. Stick around for the stage program from 11am as the Laidley Rec Reserve heats up. On the lineup, Elmo and Cookie Monster from Sesame Street, country star Denvah will be serenading the crowd, and Geed Up will have you on your feet with their high-energy mix of tunes and moves! Don’t miss the Show and Shine, where the finest rides will be gleaming in the spotlight!

ANNUAL GRAND STREET PARADE
Saturday 13 September at 10am, the Laidley CBD is set to go full throttle as thousands of festival-goers line the streets for the legendary Street Parade! Cruise on down and catch a parade of retro-inspired floats, classic heritage trucks, vintage vehicles, dressed-up community groups, and marching bands, all strutting their stuff with a twist on this year’s theme – “Retro Revival.”

Buzz on over to the Forest Hill School of Arts Hall from 8:30am to 12pm for a day packed with sweet fun! This isn’t your average Sunday – we’re talking bee-rrific arts and craft, bubble discos, balloon twisting workshops, learn to juggle, face painting, dancing, mouth-watering food, and a local artisan market bursting with goodies. Whether your little bees are 6 months or older, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
