Loch Lomond Shores has lots of wonderful outdoor space and activities as well as our stores and SEA LIFE Centre. This site map will help you plan and make the most of your time here, showing you where our beaches, playpark, woodland walks, picnic areas and much more are located.

We’re very proud to be a 5* visitor attraction that offers something for everyone looking for a fun day out.

You can SHOP, EAT, PLAY all day here at Loch Lomond Shores with a range of leisure activities, stores, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. We even have a hair and beauty salon here for some pampering!

So, whether you love designer brands, enjoying nature, keeping active, eating out or spending some quality family time, we’ve got it covered.

Getting here

We’re just off the A82, following signs for Balloch and then Loch Lomond Shores. Only around 30 minutes from Glasgow by car, it doesn’t take long to get here for a great day out. We’re also accessible via public transport with regular trains to Balloch which is only a few minutes’ walk from Loch Lomond Shores. Facilities

As a 5* visitor attraction, our facilities are excellent.

PARKING AND CAR CHARGING

We have hundreds of FREE car parking spaces, a dedicated disabled car park and coach car park as well as electric car charging points which are located in our coach park.

ACCESSIBILITY

The whole site is accessible for wheelchairs, with lifts to 1st floor if required. We offer a small number of wheelchairs in our main foyer area (outside Sports Direct) for visitors to use during their visit FREE of charge. If you would require a mobility scooter, we recommend https://recyclemobilitycentre.com/ who offer hire equipment.

Disabled access toilets for both men and women are located within our main toilets in the foyer and there are also unisex disabled toilets located in Frasers and our mall area.

BABY FEEDING AND CHANGING

For those with babies and toddlers, we have baby change facilities in our foyer toilets and, within the women’s toilet, a sofa where mum’s c relax and feed their babies in relative privacy.

DOG FRIENDLY

We are very much a dog friendly site and many of our stores will allow dogs in them, including: Sports Direct, Frasers, Catherine Kinloch, Hawkshead, Tweeds of Scotland, Lachlans, Keepsakes and Loch Lomond News. Café Zest also has a ‘dog-friendly section’ within their café ‘and well-behaved dogs are welcome on the outdoor balcony at Jurassic Ice Bar..

Whether it’s coffee and cake, cocktails or a three course meal, you can enjoy it here at Loch Lomond Shores.

Our cafes include Café Zest and Caffe at the Shores both of which offer a great selection of hot drinks and snacks. Café Zest also offers afternoon tea and hot breakfasts and lunch. Both are open from 10am to 5.00 or 5.30pm depending on the season.

Ice cream is available from Caffe at the Shores and Loch Lomond News to enjoy outside and Churros Box offers hot churros and donuts as well as hot drink takeaway.

Eat

Jurassic Ice Bar offers an amazing selection of desserts and cocktails as well as an experience for all the family with its amazing dinosaurthemed décor. It also has some of the best views of Loch Lomond from its outdoor balcony where you can keep cosy in an igloo or enjoy sunny days alfresco.

Jurassic Grill offers an extensive family-focused menu, featuring an array of starters, mains and desserts including burgers, pizzas, chicken and vegetarian dishes. All of which is set within a prehistoric rainforest, complete with its dinosaur inhabitants – offering a unique dining experience for all the family!

Both are located on the 1st floor and accessed through a main door between Catherine Kinloch and Hawkshead, loch-side.

Jurassic Ice Bar is open from 10am to 7pm while Jurassic Grill is open from from 11am to 9pm daily.

There are lots of great activities here at Loch Lomond Shores for you to enjoy.

You can enjoy the simple things such as having a picnic on our beaches or meadow, strolling through our woodland, taking the kids to our playpark or feeding the ducks and enjoying the view.

And for those looking for an adventure, there’s Treezone’s Aerial adventure course and lots of water-based activities as well as bike hire with Loch Lomond Leisure and our adventure golf.

‘Outdoor activities are seasonal, with watersports operating from Easter until end of October. For further details of opening times and days, visit Treezone, Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre and Loch Lomond Leisure.

Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre has over 30 different species of birds of prey and owls, including golden eagles, and hosts regular flying shows – great for all the family.

Indoor fun is available at SEA LIFE Loch Lomond Aquarium where you can see everything from Otters to sharks and get interactive at their rockpool.

During holidays, festivals and peak weekends, we also have small children’s rides and the Loch Lomond Shores express land train.

Our 3-day Continental Market is back here this August, featuring lots of great world foods and products that don’t feature at our usual markets to bring a wee foreign flavour to the bonnie banks!

Lomond Radio are joining us for the weekend to add some entertainment, and with funfair rides and mini-golf for the kids, as well as a playpark, picnic area and lots of great shopping and other activities, it makes a great day out for all the family!
