Administration Drive and Bell Avenue 940-898-3644 www.twu.edu

TWU’s Little Chapel-in-the-Woods may be the most beautiful place for a wedding in the United States. Maybe the world. The chapel is located just off Bell Avenue behind the high-rise dormitories on the campus. It can be reserved by anyone and is constantly in use. It was designed by famous architect O’Neil Ford, who grew up in Denton. He also designed the Denton Community Building, the Denton City Hall, Hemisfair in San Antonio and the campus of Trinity University. It was built with the help of TWU faculty and staff members and students in 1937. First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt dedicated the chapel. The first wedding held in the chapel was in 1939. The TWU Conference Services offers a variety of venues to host conferences. The chapel has a rich history that continues to provide a location for weddings, commitment ceremonies, memorial services and recitals. The Texas Society of Architects recog-

nized the chapel as one of Texas’ 20 most outstanding architectural achievements. Local residents realize the hard work it took to build the chapel and appreciate the history while also admiring the beauty it has to offer. “Texas Woman’s is a part of the fabric of Denton. FOOD & RESTAURANTS BEST KEPT SECRET RESTAURANT THE BOWLLERY

901 Avenue C, Suite 101 940-383-2695 www.thebowllery.com www.facebook.com/thebowllery/

For sure, there are numerous lunch and dinner options from which to choose around town, but it's the "fresh food" approach of The Bowllery -- and possibly its location near the UNT campus -- that has earned it repeat winner status among Denton voters. But it's "best kept secret" tag probably won't be applicable very much longer. It's not just college students who have turned The Bowllery (it's open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.) into a favorite. For those seeking a place to eat that offers fresh organic options -- including both meat and vegan choices -- The Bowllery is the place to enjoy healthy, tasty servings in their popular bowls. Using only fresh, cage-free, artificial- and antibiotic-free ingredients, The Bowllery makes its menu items from scratch by mixing and blending a variety of herbs and spices, as well as utilizing other well-known ingredients from around the world. Not only are you going to get quality

food choices at The Bowllery, but the staff's friendly, quick service is a huge plus. And while you're enjoying your meal,

don't be surprised if you catch yourself mesmerized at The Bowllery's artsy interior decor.
