Today we welcome AFC Penrhiwceiber in the FAW Welsh Cup Qualifying round 1 at the Ron Jones Stadium, Aberdare.
Brief history of the Afc Penrhiwceiber, The club was started under the name Osborne athletic in 1986 by David John Matthews .
The club had a great number of years in Aberdare league we were promoted to SWAL in year 2000. In 2008 we changed headquarters to play under Penrhiwceiber con athletic fc. We then gained promotion again to play in South Wales senior league.
Both our senior sides (Aberdare league side) had success in years to come .
Then after 10 years there, we then changed our name to Afc Penrhiwceiber.
We currently run 2 senior sides and sides from under 16s to under 7s with over 300 children involved
