The kitchen
Our kitchen farm-to-table menu, showcases thoughtful but simple interpretations using the freshest and finest of local ingredients at any time of day. Rustic, healthy, familiar, homely flavours presented with a little flair and a lot of fun.
Taste our seasonal salads, sandwiches, pizza collections along with the classics with a healthy twist. In the evening, dine fireside or out on the beautiful spacious sea terraces whilst enjoying beautiful wines and cocktails to add to the holiday vibe. Even our kids menu is packed with quality ingredients and fresh flavours that make eating fun and healthy.
The mineral pool
At Milk Wood House, we take our responsibilities to our local environment extremely seriously and minimise the use of hazardous chemicals wherever we can.
Of course we use chlorine free unbleached paper and cotton and our cleaning products are natural. Another area where we have cut the use of chorines and bleach has been our pools and spas. Instead of chlorine, our pools are kept clear and free of bacteria using a traditional system of metal ions.
Featuring the latest Artis line of fitness equipment, our wellness and fitness offer brings out the best in our guests by bringing the outside in to them. Our light-filled space is energising and uplifting, with an evolving range of things to try and discover.
Whether they are locals who we see all the time, guests we’re excited to host, or new friends we’re partnering with, everyone in our space is made to feel like a special insider. We’ve built our offer to nourish both the mind and the body, and help our guests unplug from the noise and plug in to themselves.

Swedish massage is a whole-body therapeutic massage treatment that works the soft tissues and muscles to help restore health - creating a calming and balancing effect on the nervous system. designed to improve your circulation, soothe your muscles and make you feel more relaxed.
AROMATHERAPY MASSAGE

Essential oils, which are highly aromatic, are readily absorbed into the body via the skin and lungs, and are believed to affect the body on all levels - physically, mentally and even emotionally/spiritually. When com-bined with massage, which helps to soothe away muscular tension and improve circulation, an aromathera-py treatment can be either deeply relaxing or uplifting, depending on the oils and massage techniques used by the therapist.

A deep pressure massage, designed to focus on areas of muscle strain. Using a range of techniques, deep tissue massage can help to relieve stiffness, tightness and tension by realigning muscle fibres.
HOT POULTICE MASSAGE

A rebalancing, light massage using heated sea salt and seaweed granule filled poultices, which are applied to the body to relax the muscles, release tension and nourish the skin. Take the poultice home to use in the bath.
HOT STONE MASSAGE

A full body massage incorporating heated Basalt stones which instantly relax the muscles, allowing the treatment to work at a deeper level. Hot stones are useful for releasing tension, reducing aches and pains and are placed along the body’s chakras to open up energy pathways. Seaweed base oil with lemon grass, lavender and juniper will detoxify and regenerate the skin.

SPA ETIQUETTE
• All guests will be asked on arrival to complete a spa registration form
• Guests using the fitness equipment will be asked to sign a PQ fitness disclaimer
• Adult only spa times are listed on the wellness menu
• Any treatment not cancelled at least 48 hours in advance will be charged in full
• We suggest you arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to relax
• Most of the body treatments are enjoyed with disposable underwear
• It is mandatory to wear a bathing suit and slippers in the Spa facilities. There is no nudity
• You must be 16 years old and over for a treatment
• Clean Sport shoes and appropriate sport attire in the fitness facilities
• Bathrobes are permitted in the Milk Wood Kitchen until 5pm.
• Attire for the kitchen is comfortable and relaxed
• Should you have high blood pressure, allergies, physical ailments, disabilities please consult your doctor prior to your visit if you are pregnant - please be sure to notify this to the Spa Manager or Reception
• For the comfort of our Spa visitors and for security reasons, persons under 16 years old are not allowed unless accompanied by an adult
• Teens having treatments must be under parental care
• Management accepts no liability for any valuables left in the Spa
